The Blood Throne is a baleful echo of the mighty dais upon which Khorne himself resides. It is a terrifying Daemon engine, armoured in brass and driven into battle by iron wheels that mangle all who stand in its path.
High-ranking Plaguebearers are known amongst the Daemon legions as Plague Drones, a title that conveys commendable humility. These overseers of Nurgle’s realm ride into realspace mounted upon Rot Flies – colossal daemonic insects whose appearance is so repugnant it scars the mind.
The rotting bowels of the Great Unclean Ones swell with pus and contagion, and within each such swelling there grows a tiny and malevolent Daemon called a Nurgling. As the Nurgling matures it feeds upon the filth of the Great Unclean One and pops out. It is the very personification of a boil of pustule. Their tiny teeth are as sharp as razors, leaving festering bites upon their victims, but rarely killing them outright - although such an attack can prove the beginning of a long, disease-ridden demise.
The Bloodcrushers of Khorne are heavy cavalry from within the Realm of Chaos, massive Juggernauts, ridden into battle by deadly Bloodletters. Beasts of brazen brass and corded muscle, Juggernauts are massively resilient and incredibly strong - their charge powerful enough to smash any batteline in a single earth-shattering stampede.
Screamers are glimmering sky-sharks that ride upon the winds of Chaos. Having no real conscious thought, they are driven only to hunt. Screamers gather in shoals around battlefields, lured from the Realm of Chaos by the pulses of emotion and carnage. They dive on the enemy, their slashing blades tearing through the foe before they soar skywards once more.
Daemonettes are Slaanesh's Lesser Daemons and the most numerous of all his servants. Possessed of the hypnotic glamour for which all Daemons of Slaanesh are abhorred, they are vicious, merciless fighters who attack with astounding speed and grace.
Hidden behind the dread mask of one of Nurgle’s executioners, the Lord of Plagues gazes impassively at the victims of the vile blessings that swathe him. Able to poison a man from a dozen paces away, he visits grim fates on those foolish enough to get close with his Plague-ridden Great Blade. His frame is a repulsive collection of rancid boils, open sores and cankerous bulges - truly, blessed by Nurgle.
Blood for the Blood God!
Chaos reigns. The Mortal Realms are sundered, corrupted by howling, blood-mad beasts; it is a time of morbid horror and absolute madness. The murderous champions of the Chaos Gods fight furiously to extinguish the last lights of hope, and none fight harder, or command more fear than the savage hordes of Khorne’s Bloodbound. Daubed with the Blood God’s rune, muscular beyond belief and foaming with rage, these warriors descend upon their enemies screaming and leave nothing alive. Since the Age of Chaos began, the Bloodbound have plagued every realm, rarely knowing defeat and unstoppably rolling over all in their path. But now begins the Age of Sigmar - and the Bloodbound are pleased to meet this new challenge…
The mightiest servants of the Dark Gods are blessed with monstrous power and life unending amongst the Daemon hosts of Chaos. Each Daemon Prince was once a devoted servant of Chaos, whose actions in life have earned him blessings beyond counting and elevation to daemonhood.
Plaguebearers are the rank and file of Nurgle's legions. These loathsome Lesser Daemons are crafted from the blighted soul-stuff of mortals who have been slain by Nurgle's Rot. A Plaguebearer carries the marks of Nurgle's Rot through eternity. What little of its skin that can be seen beneath the discharge of innumerable sores tinged with suppurant greens and vile browns.
The Bloodletters form the core of the vast legions of the Lord of Battle. Believed to have been foremost amongst the Blood God's followers in mortal life, their will is as implacable and blood-hungry as Khorne himself. Festooned with rippling muscles, knotted sinews and driven by an unparallel killing instinct, Bloodletters are fearsome opponents.
